Parental Requests

LSA cannot guarantee parental requests to place participants on teams with desired classmates, neighborhood friends, or specific managers, etc.  A parental request that a player not be placed on the team of a specific manager or other special specific circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis by the Board or its designee, upon written petition addressed to the LSA, P.O. Box 262, Loveland, Ohio 45140. 

Waiver and Release of Liability

I, the parent or the legal guardian of and on behalf of the registrant and myself, in consideration of accepting this entry, and intending to be legally bound for ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights for any injuries, damages on claims resulting from the registrant’s participation in activities of any kind, whether sponsored by or under the supervision of LSA, that we may have against the City of Loveland, Loveland School District, Miami Township, Symmes Township, LSA and its officers, managers and coaches and their officials, employees, agents, members, officers, coaches, administrators of all playing areas, and directors or designatees.

On behalf of this registrant, I parent or legal guardian, represent that the registrant is physically fit for participation in the sport and that I am not aware of any physical or mental impediment to such participation and that I hereby assume any and all risks associated with said participation. We agree to allow Loveland Softball Association to Release information including my likeness, for the purposes of public releases and local publicity.

Loveland Softball Association Programs & Fees - Softball / Fast Pitch

• For girls the ages of  5 through 16.  All teams are affiliated with the Southwestern Ohio Girls Fast Pitch Association and play with teams from the Hamilton, Clermont, Warren and Butler County Areas.   Except for U8 play is divided into a Recreational division and a Competitive division.  The Recreational program provides a climate for skill development, confidence building, and maximum participation for all players.  Please indicate a choice of "Recreational" (Rec.) or "Competitive" (Comp.). Those indicating they would like to play in the Competitive division are not guaranteed placement.  Selection of teams is by evaluations.  If your child is not selected for a Competitive division team, then she will be placed in the Recreational division.   

• If the number of sign-ups in any one program is insufficient or creates unbalanced teams, LSA reserves the right to act accordingly in the best interest of all programs without prior consultation with the participant and/or parent/legal guardians.

• There will be no refunds after March 1st, 2012.
